A major highlight of the Fiesta de las Flores has been Military Night.  At this night,  La Fiesta  pays  tribute to the military personnel and their families for their service to our country and to introduce the military contigency in the area to the region's art, culture, heritage and diverse cuisine in a festive ambience. Distinguisded combat duty military men/women are honored on Military Appreciation Day and active duty and retired miiltary and their families are admitted free of charge to the Fiesta on that day.
